The
photo reminds me of the little angel who was born on Thursday, 25th of
December 1997 exactly at 8 PM.That December night was obviously a cool
and chilled night.I had the chance to meet that angel only on 26th morning.It was my
first experience to feel and touch such a sweet and beautiful thing.
I was unable to express my emotions and sentiments.I didn't try to hold that baby neither did I try to touch her.I was afraid, I might hurt her.After few minutes Mom asked, do you wanna hold her in your lap?I said, I can try.She carefully placed that little angel in my lap.
There she was, in front of me.Just like a ball of cotton-soft, smooth and fragile.That milky white complexion,those pretty dark black eyes and the sweet smile of her's was giving me a strange feeling.Undoubtedly a pleasant one..But how do I express that feeling!!!I had never seen such a small baby before...!!!I kept on staring at her and she kept on smiling.Gosh!that toothless smile was so very cute. I told my Mom, Mummy look at her toes,they are just like 10 small pearls.Aren't they? For me they indeed were small pearls. Perfectly shaped small spheres as if they are meant to be the pearls.Then I looked at her fingers.I forcefully kept my index finger among her right hand fingers as she kept her fist closed with the full force.I could feel the touch of her fingers.Again, how do I express this feeling!!!
All this while,My Mom didn't say anything.I guess she herself was enjoying the happiness and joy which was shown on her elder's daughter face while holding her younger daughter.
Then suddenly she said "Roohi, go out of this room as quickly as you can.If somebody sees you in here, you will have to take bath.I don't want you to take bath in this chilled morning as you are already not well."
Though I came out of that room giving that angel back to Mom but still I couldn't forget those small pearls...:)Where can I find those? I guess, Nowhere!!!! :)
